Corn Pudding Southern Style

 


Easy and so delicious. The ultimate Southern comfort food.


Ingredients
  • 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 stick of salted butter (melted)
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese
Directions
  • Preheat over to 350 degrees
  • Mix together everything but the cheese.
  • Grease a 2-quart casserole pan, and pour in the mixture.
  •  Cover with aluminum foil or lid, and bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and top with the cheddar cheese. 
  • Place back in the oven uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
